DESCRIPTION

USB-C technology is the latest development in connectivity to offer advantages of smaller size and increased durability which means it is small enough to work for even the smallest peripheral devices. With Type-C USB cables, both ends will be the same, allowing for reversible plug orientation and worry-free plugging in (upside down). KeystoneUSB-C interconnects support the USB 3.1 standard with top speed of 5 Gbps and power output of up to 20 V (100W) and 3 A. The standard allows for bidirectional power, which makes these new plugs and sockets ideal for future high-tech devices as data and charging ports without the need for separate power adapters.
