HDMIC6 HDMI OVER DUAL CAT6 EXTENDER (Discontinued)

Discontinued

Features

The HDMI extender includes two units: transmitter & receiver units. The Transmitter is used to capture the inputHDMI signals and carries the signals through two RJ-45 connectors into two low cost CAT6 cables. The receiver is responsible for equalizing the sent TMDS multimedia data.

We recommend the use of our DOSS TWIN CAT5E cable. It is insulated in a Black PVC Jacket and contains 2x CAT5E cables.

This is great for dual CAT5 HDMI Extenders as one cableis easier to install than two, and unique colouring allows easy identification of data lines.

FAQs

Q: The description says it uses CAT6 cable, but you recommended CAT5e cable – what’s the deal?
A: Over 40m there is not a big difference between CAT5e and CAT6 cable. Not to mention the built-in electronics of the HDMIC6 compensates for signal transmission losses etc. So inshort, CAT5e cable will work just fine – plus it’s cheaper!
